Words fail me to express enough gratitude for the many...
Words fail me to express enough gratitude for the many healings I have had since studying Christian Science. One healing I particularly wish to mention was that of a badly dislocated wrist. The bones in the hand and wrist were, to mortal sense, all very much out of place. This condition was due to a fall. I started to declare the truth, that there are no broken or dislocated bones in God's kingdom, but the pain was so severe I could not handle it, so called a practitioner for help. I kept on declaring the truth and knowing that God is an ever present help, and with the loving help of the practitioner the pain was quickly destroyed. Shortly after my first treatment I used my hand (it was the right one) to write and do other things. During this healing, and since studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I have been healed of a bowel trouble which had been pronounced incurable by physicians; also of sick headaches, neuritis, insomnia, and many other discordant conditions.
I am also deeply grateful for the harmony that has come to my family through their faithful daily study of the Lesson-Sermon. Science and Health is indeed a "key" to the Scriptures, for it has made the Bible more readily understood and shown that the lessons which Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, taught can be applied to every human problem. My great desire is to demonstrate by my life what the study of Christian Science has done for me, so that I may be of greater service to my fellow-men.
