I have received so much help and encouragement from the testimonies given in our periodicals that I should like to express my gratitude through the same channel. I have had two instantaneous healings of burns, one from hot fat spilled on my hand, the other from boiling water turned on my hand while I was working as a dentist's assistant. There was absolutely no pain or mark to indicate that these accidents had occurred. "The scientific statement of being," as given us in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 468), helped me to rise above the thought of sensation in matter. I was very grateful for these two healings, as I was young in the study of Christian Science and it meant a great deal to me to be able to prove a little of the understanding derived from that study.

I am grateful for the faithful work of a practitioner at the time our little son was born. It was her sincere love and understanding of God that overcame the so-called law laid down for both of us by the doctor in attendance. Our son and I myself are witnesses to the truth that God is our Life.

How grateful I am for the Sunday school, where the children are taught the truth of being and learn early in life how to demonstrate this truth! I wish to express my gratitude to the practitioner who has so faithfully helped our little son out of difficulties, and also for the cooperation of other faithful practitioners at different times. Grippe, croup, bowel trouble, and other illnesses have been overcome for him.
