God Our All, and All

In the first chapter of Genesis we read, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good;" and, as recorded in the same chapter, God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." Here we have the truth concerning the origin of the real creation, the spiritual universe, including man.

With God, then, as the one and only creator, the source and origin of all real being, there can be only one creation; and this creation must necessarily be spiritual, because as Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 421), "God, Spirit, is all," and "there is none beside Him." Thus the man of God's creating is acknowledged to be the perfect child of God, the idea of Spirit, Mind.

One day a student of Christian Science was banking some money. After testing a quarter, the cashier found it to be a counterfeit. In appearance it seemed no different from any other quarter; but when it and a genuine coin were sounded, the genuine one was found to have a decided ring, while the counterfeit was heavy and dull, proving that there was a difference in the quality of their metal.
