With a heart full of gratitude I wish to tell of a healing I received about four years ago at a Christian Science lecture, the first one delivered in our new church. I had fallen down our basement stairs a few days before, landing on my knees on the concrete, and badly injuring one of my limbs. I could put no weight on it, and the pain and fear were so great that I called for the help of a practitioner, which was lovingly given. The pain was overcome in a short while, but the leg was useless. At the end of the third day the practitioner asked me to attend the lecture referred to above. As I would have to walk three blocks to the street car, I thought it would be very difficult, but my earnest desire led me on; and by walking slowly and resting, and by hopping on one foot at times, I reached the car line. During the lecture the demonstration was made. I could afterwards use my limb freely, for I was completely healed.

This is only one of the many wonderful proofs of healing I have received through the study of Christian Science.
