Beatrice, Nebraska (First Church). Lecturer: James G. Rowell; introduced by William Elerbeck, who said:—

The question is often asked, "Does Christian Science heal the sick?" I can truthfully say that it was proved to me many years ago that it does. My mother was given up by four good physicians. They stated that she could live but a short time. She then turned to Christian Science and was entirely healed in one week's treatment. Three years later my father was bitten by a large timber rattlesnake. In three hours his limb was swollen to nearly twice its normal size. He too turned to Christian Science for treatment. The next day he was able to walk three blocks. The third day he wore his own shoe: he was healed. I, too, have been healed many times by Christian Science. What Christian Science has done for me and my parents it will do for each and every one who loves God and trusts Him entirely.
