It is now many years since I first received Christian Science treatment, and many are the benefits which I have derived therefrom. I was healed of stomach trouble, painful teeth and feet, backache, constipation, headaches, and many faults of character, such as unjust criticism, resentment, pride, and lack of charity in my thoughts of others. My stomach gave me much trouble, and it was agony to eat anything. All odors were obnoxious, food was tasteless, and I always had a bad taste in my mouth. This healing was slow, and I had to prove every step of the way; but I was healed of many other ailments during this time, and I knew that eventually I would be entirely well. More recently I was healed of a sick headache while at a Christian Science lecture.

My son, when a boy, was healed of indigestion, influenza, autointoxication, and measles very quickly. As a young man he was protected by Christian Science throughout his school and university years and later secured a fine position. My mother was healed of a severe attack of inflammatory rheumatism in eleven treatments, so that she was well enough to go to the practitioner's house; and in a week more she was entirely healed, the trouble never returning.

I am so grateful for these many healings, and for the demonstrable understanding of God given to us by Mrs. Eddy, whereby we may prove for ourselves God's omnipresence.
