Pelham Sun

Pelham, New York (First Church).—The Christian Science church, First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Pelham, which held its first service on May 6 last year and was admitted as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, a few weeks later, has just purchased the beautifully wooded plot of ground of about an acre on Colonial Avenue, extending from Wolf's Lane to Carroll Place and facing the park at the entrance to the Hutchinson River Parkway. The members expect to build their church home on this attractive site in the near future, and in the interim are holding their services in the Manor Club on the Esplanade.—Pelham Sun.
