With a grateful heart I testify to a wonderful healing which has come to me through Christian Science.

In the summer of 1926 I was taken to a sanitarium on account of tuberculosis of both lungs, and was obliged to stay there for five months. There was some improvement in my condition, but it lasted only a very short time. When I had been working again for four weeks I felt so ill and miserable that one of the doctors at the clinic for lung trouble said that I was in no condition to work at all, and that I was to go as quickly as possible to another sanitarium.

But at this moment I was convinced that now, in my greatest extremity, Christian Science, of which I had heard through a dear friend, alone could help me. A Christian Science practitioner was willing to take up the work at once. She expressed such great confidence that I learned to overcome my fear more and more. After a very short time I noticed how beneficial it was to read the Christian Science literature. On the day that I turned to Christian Science for help my healing began. To-day I feel well and strong. After an examination, made in December, 1927, two doctors pronounced my lungs to be completely healed. At the same time I was healed of another complaint which had troubled me for many years. I had been so constipated that even the strongest laxative no longer had any effect, and the doctors had already considered an operation. This condition disappeared after two weeks' treatment.
