For several years I suffered from constipation. Doctors gave me the usual pills and salts, but nothing was of any lasting benefit. Finally, drugs had no effect on me, and I was forced to use an enema almost daily. In my extremity I turned to Christian Science and was healed instantly. Also, after being an inveterate smoker for twenty years, I was healed even against my wish. At the time of this healing I was taking treatment for another difficulty, and I was healed of the tobacco habit a week before I realized it. The cigars and cigarettes I smoked after my healing all had a most disagreeable taste, and I naturally threw them away. It is over four years since this healing took place. I am grateful for Christian Science, and grateful to God for the many blessings He has bestowed upon me and upon my family. I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this great truth that is blessing the whole world.
