I first heard of Christian Science twenty-one years ago, when suffering from chronic indigestion. Through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and the loving help of a practitioner, I was healed; and this healing has been permanent. I have been healed of hemorrhoids, also of congestion of the lungs. During the latter illness I was able to perform all my duties, which included the cooking of three dinners for over thirty people each time. I have had many moral healings, including a hasty temper and a discontented nature. I have also been able to lay aside glasses which I had worn for many years.

In my family of four children, instantaneous healings of bronchitis, measles, and whooping cough have been experienced. Fear, too, has been largely overcome through the understanding that God is Love. The ninety-first psalm and the "Daily Prayer" from the Manual of The Mother Church (p. 41) have proved a daily help and protection, and my constant prayer is that my life may be lived so as to attest my sincerity.—(Mrs.) Florence Mable Tanner, Oswestry, Shropshire, England.
