Daily Sowing and Daily Reaping
NOT infrequently we hear those who perhaps have been studying Christian Science for years, refer to their "healing" in Christian Science as though they had experienced only one healing. While some healings may stand out more prominently than others in individual experience, we must be ever alert to recognize the hand of God in all the good that daily comes to us.
There may sometimes seem to be a tendency on our part to look only for occasional blessings from God, and to overlook the daily proofs of His presence that are apparent to all who have eyes to see. The Psalmist, observing God's constant providence, declared, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation."
Christian Science has made its phenomenal growth in spite of every obstacle that has been raised against it because of its demonstrably practical nature, because of its ready application to all of the daily problems that arise in the home, the office, the shop, the factory, the farm, the schoolroom, the church, or wherever one may find himself. Whether the problem be large or small, whether it be physical, mental, moral, or financial, Christian Scientists are taught to turn to God in righteous prayer for the healing of every difficulty.
