About seven years ago I felt I was the most unhappy woman in the world, but with all the love which I have received since I came into contact with Christian Science, I can truly say Christian Science has lifted me out of hell into heaven. I was having treatment from a specialist in London, when someone told me that it was not God's wish that I should have this trouble.

I could not understand that dear friend, as I was never religious at all; but when I was introduced to a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed after a long talk, and did not even think of going again to the specialist. When I was taking out an insurance policy an examination had to be submitted to, and everything was passed "A 1."

Soon afterward, my little boy had chicken pox, but with the help of a practitioner he was healed in one day. I am so grateful for the way the children are taught in the Sunday school, for it is such a help for a mother to know that she can let her children go into the world with Christian Science to support them. After the boy went to school, he told me that when working out his sums, which seemed a little difficult, he just held on to the words in Proverbs, "For the Lord giveth wisdom."
