Christian Science healing is complete and lasting —not temporary or fragmentary, as was mistakenly implied by an article in your columns of September 18. Every issue of The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel contains authenticated testimonies by those who have been healed in Christian Science. These testimonies include the destruction of sin and also the healing of the full gamut of functional and organic diseases, and the cures have been permanent.

Christian Science is the renaissance of the spiritual healing method of Christ Jesus, and was discovered by Mary Baker Eddy through an inspired understanding of the teachings of the Master. Jesus healed evil and "every sickness and every disease among the people," by spiritual means alone. The healing of physical discord as well as sin was a fundamental part of his ministry, and the cures were perfect and entire.

Christ Jesus said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
