The
need of supporting church officers is as insistent to-day as it has been through the history of the Christian church.

May I submit to your readers that Christian Science differs radically from the teachings mentioned [in a recent editorial, namely, pragmatism, intuitionism, spiritualism] upon this point, that its teaching is based upon the allness of God, Spirit; hence the nature of Christian Science is wholly spiritual, not material.
In an article entitled "The Triumph of the Ancestral Spirit of the Indians" the religious teaching of Christian Science is also briefly mentioned, and the absolutely erroneous statement is made that "Christian Science is a ritual of exorcism; demons of sickness are denied; appropriate formulas are chanted over the refractory body.
I read with interest the article on faith healing by a clergyman in a recent issue of your paper, and especially his statement: "Jesus had perfect understanding of every law of God, his Father.
In a recent issue there appeared some misinformation with regard to the practice of Christian Science by its adherents.
May I be permitted to correct certain misstatements regarding Christian Science made in the moderator's address as reported in a recent issue of the Advertiser.

The pamphlet, "Permanency of The Mother Church," first announced in the Sentinel of March 10, 1928, has been translated into French for distribution among French-speaking Scientists and other individuals speaking the French language who might profit by the information it contains.

Testimonies of healings brought about at authorized lectures on Christian Science will be published in The Christian Science Journal or the Christian Science Sentinel, when verified as are other testimonies appearing in the periodicals.
I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good, for the many channels through which I have been helped in finding my way into the land of Christian Science.

A translation of "Rudimental Divine Science" and "No and Yes" into the German language is now published in one volume with alternate pages of English and German, in both cloth and pocket editions, uniform in size with the library and pocket editions of other writings by Mary Baker Eddy.
