Sometimes things can feel overwhelming. Where do we find hope? The Easter story, especially Jesus’ resurrection, can lift our thoughts and lives higher. The Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, defines resurrection in part as “spiritualization of thought; . . . material belief yielding to spiritual understanding” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 593). The articles and testimonies in this week’s Sentinel give examples of individuals who found inspiration and healing through smaller “resurrection” experiences of their own, instances where they overcame difficulties by spiritualizing their thought—by recognizing God’s infinite presence and power. We hope their accounts will help you do the same.
