Through the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the King James Version of the Holy Bible, I have found the "pearl of great price;" and the use of it has kept me in perfect health for the past eighteen years.

Fear of destruction from hereditary disease—eczema—caused me to become a slave to the liquor habit at an early age, and I lived in this bondage for years. To make matters worse I indulged in drugs, used tobacco excessively, gambled, used profane language, and was in bondage to many other evils. Christian Science furnished the mirror whereby the real man was revealed. I have been entirely healed of the conditions mentioned, and I raise my voice in praise to God for my deliverance.

I am very grateful for having had the privilege of serving in various ways in a branch church in this city. My daily prayer is that I may grow in grace in order to become a better Christian Scientist. All glory and power and might to God, that our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, was inspired to establish the Christian Science movement!
