Vallejo, California (First Church).—Plans are now well under way for the erection of a church edifice by the Christian Science church of Vallejo. The building is to be erected on property which the church has owned for several years, located on Kentucky Street, between Sonoma and Sutter Streets. Preliminary plans have already been drawn by a well-known San Francisco architect, it was learned, who has submitted a most pleasing design incorporating all the modern features for a building of this kind. While all details in connection with the project have not been fully worked out, it is understood that the new edifice will be a handsome addition to Vallejo's group of new church buildings. It is expected that actual construction work will be under way within the near future, in order that the building may be ready for occupancy before the end of this year.
