Words seem inadequate to express my feeling of gratitude...

Words seem inadequate to express my feeling of gratitude for God's wondrous goodness to me. I have been a student of Christian Science for over sixteen years, and to say that I am grateful for the manifold blessings received, is to put it mildly.

I have been healed of inflammatory rheumatism, lumbago, tonsillitis, sick headaches, and many other ills. I bruised my finger with a hammer so that the nail became black, but my remedy was with me and, declaring the declaring the truth immediately, I soon was able to go on with my work. One morning, the iceman spilled my cream, and I went to the ice box to clean it up. As he picked up a piece of ice weighing about ten pounds to put it back into the box, he let it slip off the hook, and it fell about four feet, cutting the top of my foot. I hurried to the office and asked my husband to help me. Together we declared the truth, and in about half an hour the pain ceased. My foot did not even swell to any extent.

Christian Science helps me in driving a car, especially at night. I am grateful to God for His goodness to me. I am grateful for Christian Science; grateful for the privilege of class instruction, and for membership in The Mother Church; grateful for membership in a Christian Science Society and for the privilege of serving as superintendent of the Sunday school.
