I wish to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me mentally and physically, including an instantaneous healing of palpitation of the heart while attending a lecture on Christian Science. The first words uttered by the lecturer were to the effect that she knew the audience had come to learn more about God—Truth, Life, Love—and that their efforts would be replete with blessings. The condition of the heart had troubled me for some time, and I had thought I could handle the erroneous belief myself, hence had not sought help from a Christian Science practitioner. The physical manifestation of the disease that evening was almost unbearable; but fifteen minutes before the close of the lecture I was healed; and I walked to my home, a distance of over a mile. This healing occurred more than a year ago and has been permanent.
