It is nearly three years since I was healed in Christian Science. One Saturday morning when I awoke, I was in great pain; my throat was swollen, and I could hardly speak. I sent for a practitioner, and she lovingly helped me, so that I was healed by evening. On the following Monday morning when I awoke, a piece of hard substance came out of my mouth. Five years ago a doctor had said this could not be removed except by an operation. We have also had other healings, of influenza, an injured finger, and business problems; for which I am deeply grateful. I am grateful for the Sunday school, which my two boys attend; also for the Journal and Sentinel. I am grateful for the By-Laws in the Church Manual; and my one desire is to give out what I have received in Christian Science.
