Lecturer: Peter V. Ross; introduced by Herman P. Thomas, who said:—

A prophecy made by Isaiah long before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth reads as follows: "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." And in the Gospel of John we find Christ referred to as "the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." These statements lead us to believe that the spiritual light, Christ, Truth, is the birthright of every individual, but in order to enjoy the glorious privileges of this birthright we must turn from material thinking. Christian Science is being acknowledged by the thinkers of the age as the way to this great light spoken of by Isaiah and Jesus. It has won this position as a result of the proofs, the healings, that have occurred through its application.
