In grateful recognition of benefits received through Christian Science, I submit the following testimony.

The first demonstration that I remember was at the time our little daughter was born, when I experienced no pain. After she was delivered, those around who were not studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy stated that she was dead. I knew there was a higher law governing than man-made laws, and that that higher law was the law of universal harmony, God's law. Through the work of the practitioner, the little one soon breathed freely. Four years later, when our little son was born, the birth was also painless.

One morning while I was putting the clothes through an electric wringer, my hand was caught in the rollers to the wrist. I tried to reverse the lever, but my hand was so tightly wedged in that the lever refused to operate. I tried again to reverse the lever after I had untightened the set-screws, but to no avail. In my distress I called upon God for help, and as I was about to place my hand on the lever it sprang back and my hand was released, very badly mangled. I called a practitioner, and received immediate relief from extreme pain. Inside of half an hour all pain had vanished. That evening the hand was free from all swelling and discoloration.
