Lakeport, California (Society).—Construction of the first unit of the new Christian Science church, to be erected on the corner of Second and Park Streets, has now been started. The Christian Science Society of Lakeport has owned this lot for some time and funds for the new building have been coming in gradually. The building will be a Spanish type of two units. The first unit, consisting of the main building, will be constructed now, and a second unit, consisting of a large auditorium, cloak rooms, Reading Room, and lobby, will be constructed when needed. Sidewalks on both streets are provided.—Press and Record.
