Among the Churches

Current Notes

Clearwater Evening Sun

Clearwater, Florida (First Church).—Dedicatory services were held recently by First Church of Christ, Scientist, at their church at the northwest corner of Oak and Turner Streets. While this church was completed late in 1925, yet it is an invariable rule of this denomination that they do not dedicate their churches until the edifices are entirely paid for; and it was only recently that this result was accomplished. This edifice is one of the outstanding marks of Clearwater's progress and development. To be able to liquidate their indebtedness while there is so much belief of lack, speaks well for the spiritual understanding of this congregation.—Clearwater Evening Sun.
