I wish to express my gratitude for all the blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. The Bible has always been of great interest to me, but through studying Mrs. Eddy's wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I have learned to understand and love the Bible as never before. Christian Science has given me a better understanding of God. I have learned to know Him as the only power and Life, divine Love, the all-encompassing and all-sustaining Principle; and I am beginning to grasp something of what God's perfect man is.

Through this little understanding, first my outlook on life and then my whole life have been changed. Before Christian Science found me I was a sickly, weak, nervous woman, subject to fainting attacks, which I feared so much that I hardly could do anything more than my daily duties. Jealousy, resentment, and fear occupied my thoughts and made me very unhappy. All this is completely changed. I am now beginning to realize the freedom which belongs to God's man. Fear, sickness, jealousy, and unhappiness have given place to joy, strength, courage, peace, and an unspeakable gratitude to Christian Science for guiding me to the living fountain, God's Word, in which we really have all we need.

Christian Science takes away "the vail," as Paul says, and the Word is made living and possible to live through an understanding of the ever present Christ, Truth. As Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 174): "Truth is revealed. It needs only to be practised."
