[Original testimony in German]

I, too, one of a great multitude, wish to testify to blessings and helpful experiences I have had in Christian Science.

A short time ago everything within me looked dark, gloomy, and void. I began to despair of life. Everything I undertook bore the stamp of my will, and I would become very angry if things did not turn out as I wished. When I was in this condition, I met with serious and, according to human opinion, grave failures, which were all the more severe because I lost my position. I had taken upon myself many obligations and could not meet them. I had made serious mistakes in my business; and when I left, the directors of the firm made it difficult for me and threatened me.

In my great extremity, at the advice of my parents who had known of Christian Science for some time, I turned to it, and at the same time to a practitioner, who very lovingly took an interest in me, listened to what I had to say, and began to work for me immediately. The result of her work was a miracle. Not only has the firm been most accommodating, but all my other creditors have been satisfied, and, last of all, I have another position. This is something extraordinary in Germany to-day, as the number of employees is being reduced everywhere. When I consider all this, I cannot express my gratitude in words for all that God has done for me.
