My Aim

HELEN WINCHESTER HARVEY

Not human praise—
The shouts of men—
Not exercise of pomp,
Not thought of gain,
Nor sense of self entailed.
In deep humility, dear Lord,
My love, my faith, my gratitude
To Thee to prove—
My aim.
