Christian Science was brought to my notice about fifteen years ago, when we were looking for a healing for one in our family. I had been in very poor health for years, with seemingly no chance of being any better; but in reading Christian Science to this one, and trying to help him, I was healed, with very few treatments from the practitioner who was then showing us the way to harmony. I shall always be grateful to this practitioner, who so kindly and patiently explained Christian Science to us in such a way that we were soon able to rise above the many errors that beset us as we turned away from material aid and looked towards Spirit, God. We have never wavered, and can say we are gaining each day a better understanding of the truth that does make free, if we apply it as we should.

A short time ago, I was healed of gallstones through the loving help of a practitioner, and in that healing I was awakened to the fact that I had been filled with resentment. I have been healed of blood poisoning; of bad burns from scalding water which had been spilled on my hands, with no sign of blistering or redness. Through my daughter's help in Science I had eight teeth extracted at one time without pain, although the dentist told me some of the teeth would be hard to pull as they were very firm.

For these and many other healings I have experienced through the study of the Bible, with the help to understand it given in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I am most grateful.
