Of the many blessings which have come to me in every emergency, through Christian Science, I wish to relate one of healing.

My ten-year-old daughter came home from school with a high fever. I nursed her and thought of the child as we are taught in Christian Science. When after a week her condition had not improved and the worst was feared, my husband said to me that I should bear the whole responsibility if I did not allow a physician to be called in. But as I preferred Christian Science treatment, a Christian Science practitioner at my request visited us very soon. The next day the child was well. We are inexpressibly grateful to the practitioner for her devotion. I also remember with great love and gratitude Mrs. Eddy, who gave us the pure, true Christ-teaching again, and proved to us that the works of Christ Jesus can be performed to-day, whereby at the same time our faith and understanding are tested.
