Mrs. Eddy tells us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 447), "The recuperative action of the system, when mentally sustained by Truth, goes on naturally." This has been proved true in my case for many years. I had not been absent from my place of business on account of sickness in all that time until July 6, 1920, when I met with an accident. I was thrown down and pinned under an automobile. On being extricated, I was able to give directions to be taken home and have a Christian Science practitioner telephoned to immediately. I was flat on my back for three weeks, but each day there was a distinct gain,—I could move more. At the end of four weeks I stood on my feet; and I could have shouted for joy, for the fear had been expressed that I should not be able to walk. At the end of six weeks I was again at my desk in the office, at first being taken back and forth in an automobile. I am extremely grateful for the loving-kindness shown by my friends, and especially for the wonderful healing power of Christian Science.—(Miss) Grace B. Willcox, Cincinnati, Ohio.
