Through the understanding of Christian Science I have...
Through the understanding of Christian Science I have been healed of a very cross and sulky disposition, which was a source of continual annoyance both to myself and to others. I have also been healed of colds, sore throat, and coughs.
Above all I am grateful to Christian Science because it makes life so tremendously worth living. When one grows up and leaves school, unwise people may be tempted to tell one that although life may seem to be all happiness and pleasure and joy at the moment, yet the day of disillusionment is near at hand, when one will see things as they are, and not through rose–colored glasses. But in Christian Science it is so lovely to know that there is joy and happiness all the time, when one knows where to look for it, and that good is the real, and evil only the illusion. Jesus said, "Your joy no man taketh from you;" and there are any number of passages in the Bible which exhort us to rejoice in the Lord. The best and only true way to do this is to follow closely in the way laid down for us so lovingly by the Master and our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I am indeed very thankful for Christian Science.
