It is with deepest gratitude I give this testimony of the benefits I have received through Christian Science since I have been studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

For some years I had been suffering from heart trouble, on account of which I was considered unfit for military service; and for years I was unable to lie on my left side without a feeling of fear and uneasiness. As a result of the teaching of Christian Science, for the past three years I have felt no discomfort whatever, and have become physically stronger.

I should like to tell of a wonderful demonstration I experienced eighteen months ago. One morning I jumped from the step of a motor car, not realizing it was moving so quickly, and fell to the ground. My eyebrow was cut very deeply, and I sustained other injuries. A chemist who saw it advised me to have stitches put in, saying that otherwise it was likely to cause disfigurement. I realized at once that what divine Love could not do a doctor was not capable of doing; so I made my way home relying on God, good, and the little knowledge I had of Christian Science. Turning to the Christian Science textbook, I opened it at page 496 and read, "Hold perpetually this thought,—that it is the spiritual idea, the Holy Ghost and Christ, which enables you to demonstrate, with scientific certainty, the rule of healing, based upon its divine Principle, Love, underlying, overlying, and encompassing all true being." I am glad to say that, with the loving and prompt help of a Christian Science practitioner, in four days I was perfectly healed.
