The healing of a friend, who had been more or less of an invalid for many years, first led me to take an interest in Christian Science. Though not in need of physical healing myself, I felt I must know more about a religion which could accomplish such a wonderful thing as the healing I had seen. As I read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I knew that after much searching in different directions I had at last found the God whom I could reverence and love; and my whole outlook on life was changed for the better. During the seven years which have elapsed since I first read the textbook, I have never used drugs or consulted a doctor. Any physical need has been promptly met in Christian Science. I have been freed from headaches, and with the help of a practitioner was quickly healed of blood–poisoning. I have also experienced wonderful protection in two seemingly serious bicycle accidents. For all this, and for the good which Christian Science is bringing to the whole world, I am deeply grateful.—(Mrs.) Bessie Benson, Shanagarry, Milltown, County Dublin, Ireland.
