[Written for the Sentinel]

"Be still"

Oh , give me wisdom, Lord, that I may know
When not to speak, what not to say.
"Be still, and know that I am God,"—these words
A wealth of might and majesty contain.
He speaks, He acts, the power is His;
What else is there for us to do
Than quiet self and know that He is God?
