The first great blessing I received through Christian Science was the healing of pneumonia. I was at the home of my sister in the country at the time of this illness, and she asked me if I would be willing to accept Christian Science treatment. I said I would be thankful, indeed, to receive relief from any source; so she went to a neighbor's home to telephone a practitioner on my behalf. Before she returned, I had fallen asleep; and when I awoke, a couple of hours later, I could hardly believe I was the same person. The soreness had all gone from my chest, the fever had entirely left me, and I realized I was well.

I felt very grateful to God for this healing; and later on, when in great need of counsel because of being troubled from another cause than illness, I asked for help through Christian Science. Needless to say, I was lovingly guided out of the seemingly unsolvable situation. Since that time I have constantly turned to this great truth for guidance, and so many seeming miracles have been performed that I am now beginning to realize that what appear to human thought to be miracles are but the natural result of right thinking.
