I first heard of Christian Science about three and a half years ago. One day I visited a business friend, and when I told her of my son's illness, she called my attention to Christian Science.

From his tenth to his thirteenth year, my son had suffered from epilepsy. To cure him of this I had consulted several doctors, but without success. The boy's blood was examined three times, with totally different results; and the various medicines which the doctors had prescribed did not bring about a healing. I then tried Christian Science. I attended a service, which happened to be on Thanksgiving Day, and was greatly edified by it. I then went to a practitioner, who explained something of the truth to me. The study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and Der Herold der Christian Science, as well as regular attendance at the services, brought not only me but my whole family into the right road. My son was totally healed of his severe trouble in a very short time. While before he had been weak in every respect and had a rupture which, by order of the doctor, prevented him from taking part in gymnastic exercises, he is now perfectly healthy. I may add that my mother was healed in a very short time of an abdominal ailment.

We are also very grateful for many other blessings which Christian Science has brought into our home.
