I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science...

I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for what it has done for me. I suffered from a diseased throat for two years. I tried many doctors, and every material remedy I heard of; but nothing helped me, and I was steadily growing worse. One day, a friend spoke to me of Christian Science. I still kept trying material remedies, however, but received no help; then I lost all faith in them. At this time I started out to find what Christian Science could do, as I remembered that my friend had said it would heal. The dear practitioner who treated me gave me what I needed, thereby enabling me to gain an understanding of man's relation to God. I bought "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and never ceased studying the book until I was healed. Christian Science has been my only remedy for every ill for the past ten years. Through its aid I have been healed of heart attacks, acute indigestion, a severely injured ankle, and loss of sight of one eye, which had been injured by an accident. In this last instance the eye was restored to its proper position, and the truth about sight realized until perfect sight was restored.

I am grateful for having been led to know the real from the unreal, to know that God is the great Physician, and that I need Truth to sustain me. Each day brings me increasing gratitude for the joy and peace that have come to me through the study of Christian Science. I am thankful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; also for class instruction. I am grateful to God and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave us this revelation of Truth.—(Mrs.) Sarah Stucker, Louisville, Ky.
