It is now about six years since I became interested in Christian Science, and during that time I have received many healings. Mrs. Eddy says in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 3): "Are we really grateful for the good already received? Then we shall avail ourselves of the blessings we have, and thus be fitted to receive more." A short time after I took up the study of Christian Science, I called a practitioner for help, and through her loving work I was healed of the tobacco habit of twelve years' standing. Soon afterwards chronic constipation of five years' duration was overcome. Another healing, in the form of spiritual uplifting, came into my experience, and I became able to rise up in the morning feeling cheerful, instead of in the old way of disagreeableness and wrong thinking, which would ruin the whole day.

I am indeed grateful to God for these proofs of healing, and to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science; also to the practitioners and friends who have helped me to get over many seemingly hard places. I hope this testimony will be the means of bringing others to Christian Science, to the truth that makes free.
