In August of 1914, I turned to Christian Science for help, after suffering eight years from tuberculosis of the throat. I had tried many doctors without getting permanent relief, and at last was told that all had been done for me that could be done in this climate. I had no faith in Christian Science, but turned to it as a last resort. I was eighteen months getting a complete healing. In this time I had only about four weeks' treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. The rest was accomplished by reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Since February of 1916 I have never had a return of even the slightest symptom of the disease, for my healing was complete. Since beginning the study of Science and Health we have never had to employ a doctor, for Christian Science has been our only physician, and has healed many things.

In the summer of 1918 our little daughter had a very severe sick spell; and on the morning of the thirtieth of June we had to call a practitioner. She came to the house about ten o'clock in the morning. The child knew no one, was having inward convulsions, and seemed to be passing on. When the practitioner left at one o'clock, our little girl sat up in bed and ate some dinner. The child began from that very hour to get well, and was soon out playing again, perfectly healed. During the epidemic that year, a doctor was called in to see some people who lived in an apartment in our house, and seeing our little daughter out playing in the yard asked me if she had ever been sick. I told him of her attack in the summer, and described it to him in detail in answer to his questions. He said there was not a doubt but that the child had had lymphatic fever. Since then she has never had anything the matter with her except a cold. She is now ten years old, and is in perfect health.

We are so grateful for the Sunday school, and for all that Christian Science has brought into our lives; grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health, and for showing us the way.
