[Written for the Sentinel]

All-presence

If I could think beyond the farthest star
That lights the depths below me and above,
However swift my thought, however far,
I could not reach the limits of His love.

Though I should build me walls of stone and steel
To shut out storms and all the world's alarms,
However close, however strong their seal,
Stronger and closer are my Father's arms.
