For years I was a sufferer from a terrible nervous trouble, which manifested itself in insomnia, melancholy, and great restlessness of mind and body. I had been under the care of several specialists. The trouble would seem to disappear for a few weeks, only to return again. My mother had passed on with this disease, and I believed I should have the same fate. I was, consequently, greatly tormented by fear, especially at night. I was in this mental condition when an acquaintance, who had also been healed of a severe trouble resulting from the war, showed me the way to Truth, Christ I went to a Christian Science practitioner, and asked her to help me in my unhappy suffering. This lady gave me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, helped me in every way possible, and explained the teaching to me; so that after eight visits I was completely healed.
