Error, mortal mind, matter, and evil are all synonymous terms for the lie that would say that God is not the only creator of the universe. Obviously they can have no origin in the divine Mind; nor have they any inherent vitality or substance in Truth. They deny the omnipresence and omnipotence of God, good. Only those who accept the reality of evil would seek to know its origin; and by so doing they are rejecting the statement of the Scriptures that God is All-in-all and there is none beside Him.
