I am grateful beyond words for the many blessings which I have received through Christian Science. It would be impossible to relate them all, but I consider it my duty to give my testimony, in the hope that it will help others. Through the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the other works of our beloved Leader, I feel like a newborn woman.

A chronic inflammation of the bronchial tubes, which I was told an operation in the nose would cure only partially, weak feet, weak eyes, grippe, and fear that at times would come over me,—all have been overcome through an understanding of God's all-power and all-presence as revealed in Christian Science. While formerly I was always anxious about the future and about where I could go when I grew old, I am now free from this anxiety, because I know that our Father-Mother God does not forsake us, and loves us much more than do our dearest friends. Looking back, I can see I have been divinely guided to the understanding of Truth, which is gained through a study of Christian Science.

I thank God, as well as Mrs. Eddy for her blessed work. I am inexpressibly glad that I have become a member of the Christian Science church, and am grateful to my son for having brought to me a copy of Der Herold der Christian Science, wherein I found the "pearl of great price," which is to trust in God alone.
