Letters from the Field

"I want to humbly express my deep and heartfelt gratitude for the privilege of being a guest of The Christian Science Benevolent Association at the beautiful Sanatorium at Chestnut Hill. My stay there was a blessing from beginning to end, and was the most helpful and uplifting experience I have ever had. It came to me at a time when I needed it most, when there seemed to be no way to turn for relief; and as the result of the loving care and consideration I received in that pure and peaceful environment, I was lifted out of many conditions that once had seemed hopeless.

"I am grateful for the many healings that took place in my consciousness while there, and for the many valuable lessons I learned; grateful for the loving example and faithful service of all the associates, and for the wise supervision and thoughtful provision of the management. All this has made me a better Christian Scientist and a better man. And not least am I grateful for the benevolent thought of our Leader in founding this institution, and for the loyal work of all who have carried out her thought so well.
