In order to be Christian, Christian Scientists must follow...
Evening Dispatch
In order to be Christian, Christian Scientists must follow the teaching of Jesus; and it will hardly be asserted that Jesus' teaching included "suggestion" and "autosuggestion." The effort of a person using such is to impose human will either on himself or on another; but Jesus said, "Not my will, but thine, be done." And God's will is perfect! Therefore, the object of Christ Jesus was to allow the perfect will of God to work in himself and his hearers; and the object of Christian Scientists is the same. They have no other aim than to bring the perfect will of God to bear upon the entire round of human existence.
