It is with sincere gratitude that I write the following testimony on the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. About three years ago I was suddenly seized with pain, followed by effusion in my left knee joint. I turned to Christian Science and applied it to the best of my knowledge, but the pain continued. Three days later I asked for treatment from a Christian Science practitioner, which was very kindly and readily given. While with the practitioner I was conscious of a feeling of relief in the joint, and at the same time a clearer sense of spiritual understanding came to me. After the treatment I was overjoyed to find that I was entirely free from pain, and within two days all outward evidence of the error had disappeared, and there has been no return.

More recently, through the realization of truth, I have been healed of an ailment that had troubled me for years. Medicinal treatment of various kinds had been tried, but all proved to be only temporary remedies. Some delay was experienced before the condition was overcome, but finally it yielded to Truth. Words on page 151 of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, were especially helpful to me in this healing, viz.: "All that really exists is the divine Mind and its idea, and in this Mind the entire being is found harmonious and eternal."

I am deeply grateful for Mrs. Eddy's writings, for her wonderful revelation of the Bible. I am also deeply grateful and most thankful to all those who have helped me to understand and demonstrate Christian Science.
