It gives me great pleasure to be able to write a testimony of my healing through Christian Science. About six years ago I suffered for many weeks from appendicitis and during that time was treated by a well-known physician, who declared that an operation was the only means of relief. At this time Christian Science was brought to my notice; I consented to have absent treatments, and was healed. In two weeks' time I was able to go to the practitioner. He advised me to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mrs. Eddy, and before the book was read half through I laid aside glasses which had been worn for nine years, and have not had them on since.

I am grateful indeed to God for this wonderful healing and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for making the truth known to the world. I am grateful for the daily protection experienced through Christian Science and for our periodicals.—(Mrs.) Nellie A. Edes, Woronoco, Mass.
