Far Rockaway , N. Y.—At 7:30 o'clock this morning [July 24], the corner stone of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Far Rockaway, was laid with simple ceremonies in the presence of members of the congregation and friends of the church. The new church is being built on Mott Avenue, adjoining Masonic Temple. The auditorium will have a seating capacity of five hundred. It is expected to have the building ready for services in the fall.—Brooklyn Times.
