I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. Before I took up the study of this wonderful truth I had been miserable for thirty years or more. I was a slave to medicine, and doctors told me I would always have to take it as there was no cure for me. The claim was chronic bowel trouble. I had to take medicine almost every day. Besides I had other claims, such as headaches, backaches, and kidney trouble. I did not know what a real well day was until I took up the study of Christian Science, and my heart rejoices in our daily Lesson-Sermon. Through the study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" I have been healed of all my troubles. My heart overflows with love and gratitude to God and our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for leading me into this beautiful light, and my daily prayer to God is for more light and spiritual understanding.
