I am grateful for the help I am daily receiving through...
I am grateful for the help I am daily receiving through the study of Christian Science. The literature is a source of great encouragement as well as instruction and there is healing in every article. I have never taken medicine or been under the care of a physician in my life, Christian Science meeting my every need. Through it I have been healed of a severe stomach trouble for which I did not seem to get relief for a long time, but which troubled me less and less as I studied more and understood better the teachings of Christian Science. This trouble was fully and finally met more than three years ago and has never returned. I have had many minor physical healings and find that in proportion as I put into practice the truths learned through studying Christian Science, less physical inharmony comes up for correction.
While I am grateful for all of the physical help, I wish to say that the greatest comfort of all is the fact that one can replace wrong thinking with right thinking and thereby make the days happier and more truly useful. Such peace and happiness can only come from the one source of all good, and with it come true satisfaction and rest. I cannot express in words what a wonderful help this is in the daily problems which are constantly coming up, at home and in the office, to try to provoke and irritate one and make one unhappy. By this daily overcoming of little things through spiritual thinking, as learned through the study of the Lesson-Sermons and the literature, which is all so lovingly provided, every day can be made a happy, useful day. Can we be grateful enough to Mary Baker Eddy for making these teachings practical so that we all may avail ourselves of them?
